About Lisa Kennemur
Lisa Kennemur (she/her/hers), MA — Rites of Passage Guide and Quest Facilitator
Hello and welcome! Thank you for visiting this page and for your curiosity in who I am. I grew up in the north Georgia mountains and always found the natural world to be a place of comfort for me, no matter what was going on in my life. Nature helps me to feel grounded and connected to the earth and other beings (humans, plants, and animals). My first career was in the United States Navy. I served as a medical physicist/radiation health specialist for almost 25 years. I found Naropa University and decided to make a major life and career shift. This decision launched me into a massive transition and four-year rite of passage journey.
Whatever transition you are experiencing, I would be honored to help you find ways to honor, celebrate, grieve and acknowledge each part of your journey. Often, we race through transition without pausing to feel or acknowledge what we have just experienced. My invitation to you is to slow down and move through the transition in an intentional way. Having a guide to witness and mirror your experience is a powerful way to integrate the learning from your quest into your body and into your new way of being in the world.
My approach to guiding people through transition is the rite of passage model. Nobody’s journey in life is the same, so my approach to working with you is customized to your needs. We will talk about your goals, what you are working through and develop a plan that meets your specific needs.
